Meet Team Member Taylor Mackey, a senior at Cistercian Preparatory, where he captains the World Champions Robotics Team, Fusion Crops 6672. He is also the Co-founder of Unique Boutique, and is an Eagle Scout, and has many other passions such as tennis, fishing, and learning guitar. He was inspired by a classmate who fought Leukemia, always having a brave smile on her face despite the severe pain and challenges she was going through. His mission statement is “Whether someone you’ve known has been affected by cancer or not, I believe we can all learn from those who find strength in the unlikeliest of situations. This campaign will support the critical work of LLS in hopes that more inspiring stories of strength will be told, and less will be shared about the tragedies caused by sickness.”
